1. Establishment of Your Quotation
Based on your photos, the surgeon draws up a quote by estimating the number of grafts needed to implant. It will also indicate whether a FUE transplant is the most appropriate solution in your case.
2. Organization of the stay
Once the estimate is accepted, we organize your stay concerning the date of operation is the accommodation. All you have to do is tell us about your flight and arrange the transfer between the airport and the clinic or your apartment.
3. Stay in Budapest
Once you arrive in Budapest, you will go to the clinic for the consultation and for the operation of capillary implants. Once the operation is over, you can leave the next day.
In some cases the procedure can last 2 days; this parameter will be evaluated prior to organizing your trip.
4. Follow-Up
A long-distance follow-up on your hair transplants will be made. You will be requested to send us HD pictures after 1 week, 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. The pictures will be evaluated by our specialists to ensure satisfactory progress.
You can go back to your usual daily activities as soon as you return home. Mild antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and analgesics will be prescribed for a week in order to prevent any infection, as well as swelling of the forehead and of the eyes that could appear within 3 days.
After 2 days, a first shampoo can be applied; you will have to massage the grafted area very carefully in order not to scratch off small scabs that may appear in the area of the graft during the 10 first days; those scabs will fall within about a week.
Most of the transplanted hairs will fall during the first few weeks; follicles will however be intact and will give birth to permanent hairs about 3 months after the intervention; final results will be fully appreciable 8-12 months after your hair transplants without scars in Budapest.
